Yearbooks are $30. Please order on Schoolpay located in your student’s Source account or here: https://schoolpay.com/

You can also have your student bring a check made out to Eckstein Middle School or $30 cash to the Main Office.

Yearbooks are distributed during the last week of school in June.

You can now order 2023/24 Eckstein Spirit Gear on SchoolPay. You can access SchoolPay when you log into your parent/guardian access to the Source or go to schoolpay.com and use your Source user name & password.

Curriculum Night will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 6:30-8:15pm.

Parents will follow their student’s schedule of classes. Each class meets for 10 minutes with a 5 minute passing period to get to the next class.

This event is for parents/guardians only.

Curriculum Night Schedule:

6:00-6:25 OPTIONAL: Learn about the Source/Schoology with Ms. Sterling in the Library and our Sexual Health Instruction Overview in room 108.

6:30-6:45 Homeroom (Welcome Video with Administration Team, Wellness Team, and Support Staff)

6:50-7:00 1st Period

7:05-7:15 2nd Period

7:20-7:30 3rd Period

7:35-7:45 4th Period

7:50-8:00 5th period

8:05-8:15 6th Period

Be on the lookout for your child’s schedule and Eckstein map during the week of September 25, 2023!

Your students can come to the Eckstein Library Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays before school from 8:45 - 8:55 am and after school until 4:15 pm as long as the library is available.

We still need one 6th grade volunteer Ultimate Frisbee coach. If you have any interest in assisting with one of the teams, please let Derek Grandbois at mailto:djgrandbois@seattleschools.org

Seattle Visiting Nurses will have COVID and Flu vaccination clinic at Eckstein. As soon as we get the registration link, we will send it out. They accept most insurance plans. Patients without insurance may elect to pay out-of-pocket at the time of service, but information on free COVID boosters for the uninsured is set to be released in the coming weeks. This will be a federal partnership with retail pharmacies.

We’re putting on a 6th grade ONLY game night on Friday, September 29th from 7-8:30pm. Tickets will be on sale on Schoolpay from Monday, September 18 until THURSDAY, September 28 at noon for $3. Tickets are $5 CASH at the door. Please speak with the wellness department if your child needs a scholarship.

Attention skiers and snowboarders! The Northeast Seattle Snowsports Ski Bus, a group from the Mohan Skiing and Boarding non-profit organization, will run again this year! This is not a school sponsored event or sport but runs with parent and community volunteers, who are essential to providing kids a great experience on the bus and the mountain.

Students signups and registration open October 1st on the www.skimohan.com website.

Next week, if your student rides on a ZUM school bus they will receive a ZUM bus card. Please be on the lookout for an email with further details and instructions on who to use the features of this card.

We received official approval for our 8th grade Camp Orkila fieldtrip on October 10-12. We will distribute Camp Orkila permission form packets to our eighth graders during homeroom on Monday, September 18, 2023. Please check with your student for this information.
