PSUSD targeting on-campus hybrid instruction to begin after Spring Break!
Hopefully you have heard that PSUSD is working to bring all elementary school students whose families would like them to attend school on campus for the remainder of the 20/21 school year! All families must complete a form for each student indicating if you would like your student to return in-person OR continue with distance learning. THANK YOU to the 650 families that have already completed. Please don't re-submit this if you have already completed.

Target start dates for hybrid:
-Monday, April 12 for Grades TK-2
-Monday, April 19 for Grades 3-5
- The proposed schedule, for a student attending hybrid (on campus) at Rio Vista will be 2 days per week for half days (7:35am-11am). Days will be either Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday. Students will participate in distance learning on the days they are not attending in person. SDC classes may follow a different schedule based on class size. We will attempt to keep siblings on the same schedule. Schedules have not been finalized yet, so they are subject to change.
- Rio Vista will return to a 7:35am start time for all students when in-person hybrid begins. This will impact both distance learning and on campus hybrid students.
- Families that would like their child(ren) to remain in Distance Learning for the 2020-21 school year will have that option.
- We will attempt to keep students with their current teacher.
- Students who return to campus will be socially distanced and required to wear a mask at all times, except when eating.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns. We are very excited to welcome our Rangers back onto our campus soon! Go Rangers!
Sincerely,
Mr. T, Principal
