November 7th-11th

Conferences are this week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. I encourage students to attend conferences with their parents, if possible. If you aren't sure about your date/time, just let me know.

It's a jam-packed schedule, so please let me know if you are not going to make it. I'm looking forward to seeing you all this week!

What Are We Working On This Week?

Character Education: In November, we are working on the trait of Responsibility/ Citizenship.

Reader's Workshop: Working on making inferences.

Spelling/Word Study: We will be doing spelling a little different this quarter. For most of our lists, we will be working on them for 2-3 weeks. This is the second week that we will be working on Week #24 words. Students are expected to study every night. The test will be this Friday, November 11th.

Writer's Workshop: Informational Reports. Students should have started researching their chosen animal (they will need a total of at least 3 resources which can be books and internet sources).

Math: Unit 3 - Adding and Subtracting Whole Numbers and Decimals

Science: Unit 4 - Living Things Grow and Reproduce
