What we put out in the world we receive back. Send out the love, kindness and gratitude and reap the rewards. May brings enchantment with its seasonal changes, ushering movement of the metaphysical kind. Movement in areas of expansion and spiritual growth a time when we feel like we can levitate. And please do try, it’s the magic concept of May, you don’t know if you’re going to succeed at anything until you give it a go.
Through the breeze and tides, May carries with it a second chance if you like. Didn’t do so well trying to woo your sweetheart back on side, missed some lucrative business opportunities. The month of May has the energy to help us reach our goals and hearts
Down Time
Family time is extremely important and needed as a way to reconnect yourself from consistently working or being away due to work. If you’re not naturally inclined to slowing down and taking a break, the best thing you can do is schedule downtime. I know, downtime just sounds like something that shouldn’t be scheduled, like it ruins the whole idea of relaxing. But if you are like myself who is always tempted to keep working , it may be the only way.
We recently spent three days relaxing to a get away in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our agenda was simple...no schedule and enjoy. We packed a few books to read along with buckets and shovel's for building a sand castle and of course the handy metal detector to look for treasure. Our son played in the water splashing in the waves and later collecting sea shells. We did some shopping at Duck, NC and climbed the lighthouse in Corolla, NC. Overall it was a great way to meditate and reconnect as a family.
The Magic of Flowers
A flower is a manifestation of divine beauty and wisdom. And while each flower’s vibration is unique, what it expresses is universal: its available to all of us and is already a part of us. Flower magic, then, might be defined as employing a flower as a focal point for our intention to affect a desired positive change.
Wisteria
Beauty that increases with age, divine blessings, comfort, love, healing, grief, softness, soothing and stress-relief as well as for wisdom.

The Reason for Sadness
Besides happiness, sadness is my favorite emotion. It’s the foundation of empathy. Our ability to understand another person’s sadness is what connects us together in this human experience.
Non-Profits, charity events, and all altruistic actions stem from our ability to connect to sadness. It’s because we have all experienced sadness that we want to help other’s to know happiness.

Wish magick! Do you want a wish to come true?
Grab a pen, a piece of parchment paper or a brown bag and a strand of your hair. Sit down and visualize what you wish to happen. Imagine how it feels to obtain your heart’s true desire. Please remember to do what thou will but harm ye none. Please do not use this spell to do anything to someone else that hoes against their free will. Write your witch on the parchment paper. Take your strand of hair and fold it into the paper. Fold the paper as small as possible and bury it in one of your house plants. Let go of the outcome and your wish is done.

Wellness tip from Merilyn
Chanting Mantas, either silently or aloud, is a conscious method of controlling and directing the mind. We choose our vibration through out thought waves. Even unspoken words, mentally vibrated, affect our frequency. The vibration we choose defines how we feel and what we project onto others. Due to the enlightened masters we can invoke benefits such as increased intuition, prosperity, peace and more by chanting the specific mantras these masters have discovered and shared with us.
The science of Naad Yoga works by coordinating the movement of the tongue in the mouth to tap on the upper pallet in such a way to create specific chemical changes in the brain. Since the brain sends messages through the neurotransmission fluid, we can alter our consciousness by changing the chemical composition of the brain fluids. The state of mind, personality, and power to project from our authentic self is tied in with the use of our words.
The following mantra takes away negativity from the surrounding environment and within. It is a gift that lets you penetrate into the unknown without fear. It gives protection and mental balance. Try repeating this mantra with an open heart eleven times a day for forty days and see how it affects you.
