Message from the Principal
We want to thank you for all your efforts during this time of distance learning. This past year has brought forth much hardship, loss and challenges to overcome. Nonetheless, we are making progress in the right direction as an NHS and global community. Your students have our NHS staff to lean on during these times. As we approach end of this school year, we ask that you encourage your students to finish strong with their studies and seek help through Office Hours with their teachers and through our Digital Lancer Study Center. We are so close to the end and we want our students to remain on the path for graduation, A-G and Post-Secondary success in life!
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are in this together, and we will overcome.
Athletics Announcement
Thank you for your unwavering support for our student athletes. Know that the safety of our students and the community will always remain our priority. With this said, only two adult spectators (18 years of age and older) per athlete will be allowed to attend our athletic competitions. Coaches will be distributing two tickets per athlete the day prior to the game. Attendees must be within the same household of the athlete, maintain social distancing and wear a face mask at all times. Concessions will not be available, please bring your own water to remain hydrated.
Thank you for your patience and collaborative efforts in maintaining a safe and competitive environment for our student athletes.

Parent Leadership Team Meeting
Minimum Day Schedule for 4/1
Women in Politics Panel
In honor of Women's History Month, the NHS Government Club is hosting a "Women in Politics" Panel on Thursday, March 25th at 5pm.
Our panelists include:
- Representative Linda Sanchez, CA-38 (Norwalk's Representative in the House of Representatives)
- Norwalk City Mayor Jennifer Perez
- Norwalk City Councilmember Margarita Rios
Our panelists will share their experiences in politics and talk about women in government/politics who have inspired them along the way. Women make up only 26.4% of representation in Congress. In California, women make up only 32% of state legislative offices according to the Public Policy Institute of California. We hope that our panelists will be able to inspire the next generation of women leaders.
The event will include a Q&A portion where students can ask questions!
