1Monocots comprise one-quarter of all flowering plants species. 2They include some of the largest and most familiar groups of plants, including lilies, orchids, agaves, palms, and grasses. 3They are quite diverse, ranging from tiny duckweeds to large palms and climbing vines.

Dicots

Vascular bundles arrayed as a ring in stem.

It wide with branch and vanes.

Usually four or five floral parts (or multiples of these).

In seed,two cotyledon (part of the embryo).
