Happy New Year MCTC students and parents! We are excited to welcome everyone back to campus tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4th. Please read below for a few updates and reminders.

NEW - Teacher of the Year Nominations

It is time to select a 2022 - 2023 Teacher of the Year for Miller, and we want to include our students and parents in this very important process. Please click on the link below to nominate one of our incredible MCTC teachers who has made an impact on your life/your child's life. Every teacher nominated will receive the words of affirmation you enter, so please include your name if you would like for him/her to know who submitted.

NEW - Back-to-School Reminders

We want the Spring 2023 semester to be a positive and productive semester for everyone. As we settle back into the swing of things, please be reminded:


  • 1st period begins at 7:15 AM. Students are expected to be in their classes, ready-to-go at this time.
  • All students who drive their vehicles to Miller must have a MCTC parking permit. If you are a new driver or got a new vehicle over the holiday, please see the parking permit information below.
  • Students must wear their ID badges at all times during school hours, while on school property as part of district safety requirements. Students who are not wearing their IDs will be asked to purchase a temporary ID to wear throughout the day.
  • Students must follow the Katy ISD dress code while at Miller. Please see the flyer below for a quick visual reminder. Replacement clothing will be available for students who elect to not follow the dress code.

MCTC Parking Permit Information

If you plan to drive your vehicle to and from Miller, and you do not already have a MCTC parking permit, please follow the instructions below.


To obtain a Parking Permit, ensure you have the following ready-to-go:

  • A photo of your driver’s license ready for upload.
  • A photo or PDF of your vehicle insurance ready for upload.
  • Submit the $10.00 permit fee through Pay N’Go.
  • Complete the MCTC Parking Permit request or use QR Code
  • The Confirmation Number received through Pay N’Go is required on the Google form

NEW - 2023 - 2024 Miller Course Requests

If you are currently a junior and plan to return to MCTC next year, please do not forget that you will need to submit a Miller course request, separate from the Schoolinks course selection process. Mark your calendars: The Miller course request will open Friday, January 20th at 7:00 AM. We will send out the link and reminders when the date nears.


Ms. Perez, our Admissions Specialist, will be visiting all year one classes and providing students with Miller course information.


Additionally, students and parents can attend one of our Preview Nights in January, although not required. Please see the flyer below for details and please feel free to share with friends and neighbors.

Before break, we were able to surprise our December EPIC² student award winners for displaying our campus core values (Empowerment, Professionalism, Integrity, Commitment, and Curiosity). Congratulations!

Adulting 101 Series - Cooking Class
