Field Day
This week your student went home with a COOL IT IN THE SUN Field Day Sun Safety checklist. After reviewing the Sun Safety video in PE, students are encouraged to return this checklist for an opportunity to win a Woodstock Water Works Pool Pass!
On Wednesday, May 18th students are encouraged to wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle labeled with their name, wear a hat, gym shoes, and appropriate clothing for lots of fun and games. Students will be enjoying an ALL SCHOOL picnic and are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. If that is not feasible a school sack lunch will be provided which will included a ham & cheese sandwich OR PB&J, baby carrots, craisins and graham crackers.
Volunteers are still needed to help lead some fun & games. Your main responsibility would be to lead the station which will already be set up and directions will also be provided. Volunteers who have already signed up and have provided donations, thank you! Your time and supplies are VERY appreciated.

A copy of the COOL IT IN THE SUN checklist has been attached in case your student has misplaced it.
A few more sleeps until one of the BEST days of the year!!
With thanks,
Mrs. Joslyn
