Desertification
Desertification is a type of land degradation in which a relatively dry land region becomes increasingly arid, typically losing its bodies of water as well as vegetation and wildlife. It is caused by a variety of factors, such as climate change and human activities. Occuring in African countries such as Chad, Niger, Algeria, and Libya.
Overpopulation
The occurance in which the population of a certain species, or in this case people, exceeds the carrying capacity of a specific region. Overpopulation is occuring mostly in countries similiar to Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
Aparthied
A word meaning "the state of being apart." A more relative way of understanding the word apartheid is that it is a way of saying racial segregation. It is mainly a problem in South Africa.

Genocide
Genocide iis the deliberate of a large group of people. Especially those of a particular group or nation. One of the main countries in Africa where this is occuring is the Central African Republic.

Civil Wars
A war between organized groups within the same state or country, or less commonly between two countries created from a formely united state. Some modern conflicts are are the political conflicts in Egypt, and the Egyptian- Libyan War.
