Thank you to all parents who were able to attend the Principal Chat with Mrs. Salazar last Wednesday. It was very informative for those who chose Hybrid and their imminent return to school! I am so looking forward to the day when we can all be back at school. We are so lucky to have such an incredible principal in Mrs. Salazar!
Take a moment to watch this California High School’s Drama Department Children’s Show. They did a virtual production of the fable Squids Will Be Squids! A nice way to entertain your kids and support our local high schoolers! Watch the youtube video HERE.
Mark your calendars for an upcoming event from the Care Parent Network called Family Social Night on Saturday, February 13th at 6 pm. This event is designed for black/multi-cultural families raising loved ones with special needs in Contra Costa county. Here is the Eventbrite link to register for the event.
Do you have a child that loves art? There is an amazing community art project called “Breathing Free Together” by the San Ramon Social Justice Collective—they are now calling for art submissions. Details can be found on FACEBOOK or email submissions@srsjc.com.
A great way to be involved in your school community is to join the PTA! Alamo School PTA is looking for people interested in joining for the next school year. Please email Nicole Rocca for more information, nicolerocca@gmail.com.
Thanks all and have a great week!
