- Competition helps children gain a realistic view of their own abilities in relation to others
- Others feels that competition is harmful to children because it in stills the idea that success depends on the ability to out due others
Team Work and Cooperation
- They can play cooperatively in competitive games by working together with their teamwork
- Children who may not be playing at a certain time can cheer their team mates on
- Caregivers need to teach children not to compare themselves to others but compare their skills today with their skills in the past
