  • Competition helps children gain a realistic view of their own abilities in relation to others
  • Others feels that competition is harmful to children because it in stills the idea that success depends on the ability to out due others

Team Work and Cooperation



  • They can play cooperatively in competitive games by working together with their teamwork
  • Children who may not be playing at a certain time can cheer their team mates on
  • Caregivers need to teach children not to compare themselves to others but compare their skills today with their skills in the past
