A beautiful city in Vietnam
Hello travelers, i want to visit the capital city of vietnam. Hanoi is a big city with a lot of nature. I choose for this beautiful city cause i ‘ve been there once. Hanoi is also “a city that does not sleep” cause there is so much to do in Hanoi. The customs and the habits are also very different and so is the food, but i like it! The city is far away so you have to travel by plane but the flight is also a part of the journey. There is a heavy traffic and they drive almost only with mopeds, so it’s difficult to cross the street. It is also a lively city and the people are very friendly. If you are shopaholic, this is a perfect place for you cause there are so much shops where you can buy things.
A countryside tour by bike and by boat in Hanoi
The first activity is in the counrtyside where we explore the area by bike. It is a lovely tour in the nature, i’ve done it before. First we visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, home of the first emperor of Vietnam, Dinh BoLinh. Then we make a guided tour by bike along gorgeous back roadsand through rice fields. After lunch in a local restaurant ( also included), we cruise the waterways of Tom Coc in a traditional wooden rowboat while we have a view of the beautiful landscape. If you ask me whether you should participate in this activity, I say yes cause you see a different side of hanoi in a fun way. You can see how the local residents live. You also see the poorer neighborhood of the the city and how they earn their living. The bike tour is not that long and the roads are very good. The food in the local restaurant is varied and the service is great. All comments are very positive. But watch out for the weather cause it can be warm but also rain, wear appropriate clothes. The price for an adult is 39 euros, for a child it is 25 euros (everything included).
Private Halong Bay Sailing Cruise from Hanoi
We sail around the stunning natural wonders of Halong Bay on this full-day tour from Hanoi, including a scenic round-trip drive through northern Vietnam’s rural landscapes. The halong Bay with his thousands of gorgeous limestone cliffs is one of the seven wonders of the world. You start your full-day tour with an early morning departure from your hotel to Halong Bay, located 100 miles east of Hanoi. During the ride you can enjoy the breathtaking view of green rice fields and fruit gardens during the journey. Then you board your sailboat and begin your cruise around the picturesque waters? You visit fishing villages on water and caves. In the late afternoon, you sail back to shore and you disembark for the drive back to Hanoi. Your full-day tour ends with a visit to Dong Trieu ceramic village en route your hotel. The entrance fee is 49 euros for one person. When I went to Vietnam, I found this the highlight of the trip. All the comments are also laudatory. One of the seven wonders of the world, defenitely worth to see so.
Hanoi city tour
The last activity is one in the city itself, it is a very varied day. We start early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel. Then we make a cyclo tour in the hart of the city with your friendly and informative guide. We don’t do that on a regular bicycles but on a riksja, that is a kind of tricycle. You can compare it to an open air taxi. Then we go along hanoi’s old quartier in the historical center of the capital, known for its 36 old streets and artisan guild that date back to the 13th century. After that we stop for a quintessential Vietnamese breakfast ot pho bo ( beef noodle soup) and you can enjoy a relaxing conversation with the locals over a cup of delicious coffee. Than we continue with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, where your guide points out the significant buildings such as the President’s Palace and the Ministry of Forgein Affairs. Finally, our guide accompanies us in the water puppet show. A beautiful show put on by the local people. And we finish with a local beer (or a soft drink for the kids) at Bia Hoi Junction where you can sit outside with a view on the city. All that for the price of 28 euro per person. You see Hanoi in one day on a fun way.
