Titan Tidbits-Staff Edition
Volume 2, Week 5: September 16-20, 2019
General Announcements:
Cafeteria Reminders: When you see any parents come in the cafeteria, greet them and please remind/redirect parents to sit at the parent tables in the cafeteria. Even if you are sitting down, already eating... it is your responsibility (bc of FERPA) to let them know where to sit. Parents may sit with their students at the tables located in front of the stage steps and along the partitioned gym wall. These tables may not be used for silent lunch or work tables for students.
Shoutout to Fifth Grade... they have been asking parents, with the PLC mindset that all students are "ours", that aren't theirs to move to the appropriate tables.
Absences: Thank you for coming to school... it sounds simple but this time of year is when everyone starts getting sick and I want you to know we appreciate you pushing through and being there for our students. Know that you at 70% is better than any sub at 100%.

1.) Please note when you bring him back to my office, if I am not here, please leave beside the door.
2.) Please review the available slots below to sign up to have Humphrey in your classroom.
3.) We will deliver around 7:45-8 (depending on the craziness of the mornings) and you will bring back to Mrs. Wagner's office at 2:30/dismissal.
4.) Please do NOT allow your students to poke Humphrey or put their tiny fingers in his cage :)
Security
Our school security system is now being set each night and on the weekends. If you come to school after hours or over the weekend, you will need to park in the bus loop and use the cafeteria foyer entrance.
The security keypad is located on the left wall by the lost and found items. The code to disarm the system is 6248.
When you enter the building, enter quickly… you have 30 seconds before the alarm goes off… if you see this:
You will need to disarm the system, enter 6248 and press OFF (#1 on the keypad). Once disarmed, it will look like the picture below.
After you disarm the system, you will need to sign the record sheet in the notebook with the NAME, DATE, and TIME, so we will know you are in the building.
Before you leave, enter the exit time so we will know the building is clear before setting the alarm again. If you are the last person in the building, you will need to set the alarm.
You will go to the alarm system, push 6248 and then AWAY (#2 on the keypad).
If you are uncertain about how to use the alarm system and would like more help, please see Lisa, Tripp, or Brigitte.
