Friday, June 2, 2017, Last Day of School Year
Dear Parents & Students,
Good Afternoon! It's hard to believe that another year is coming to a conclusion. Thank you all for another successful year which brings a ton of memories I will treasure for a long time.
Rice has a fantastic community and our students continue to impress me through their positive demeanor and overall ability to succeed at whatever they put their minds to on a daily basis. We have much to be proud of, and I am thankful you have given the staff at Rice the opportunity to help your child learn and grow each day. It truly is a privilege.
For those of you who have children leaving Rice, we wish the best for you and your children, and we hope that Rice has created some long-lasting memories that you, too, will cherish for years to come.
I wish all of you a restful and enjoyable summer. Remember to take the time to appreciate those moments with your family and friends because we will be back in session before you know it!
Sincerely,
Chris Glasscock
Principal

7. Disposing Electronic Devices Over the Summer?
The Eco-Club at Rice is participating in a program called Cartridges for kids. They are a Product Recover Service that collects ink cartridges, cellphones, laptops, Ipods, tablets, e-readers, and all electronic devices to provide help to children in need. Please keep your devices over the summer and bring them to the front office or Room 817 in the Fall. Consider donating any of these items instead of disposing them once they are no longer being used. For more information visit: http://www.cartridgesforkids.com/
Thank you.
