NAMI’s Starting the Conversation: College and Your Mental Health
Topics include mental health friendly signs to look for when applying to college, life skills to master before the first term, family communication plans, working with the disability office, and more. Students, parents/guardians, and school counselors are welcome. In order to respect safe spaces, this webinar will NOT be recorded.

Landmark Post-Secondary Fair for Students Who Learn Differently
Landmark College in Beverly, MA is offering a Post-Secondary Fair for Students who Learn Differently. This event will help connect students and families to colleges and other post-secondary programs that have robust disability services and other supports to ensure students can thrive beyond high school. This event is happening on Thursday, March 23rd from 6-8pm.

Scholarships for Seniors
School Counselors visited Senior Project classrooms last week and the Local Scholarship is available for all seniors who are going onto Post-Secondary Learning that will cost them money. From a 6-week certification course to 4 year college. If the training will cost money your 12th grade student should apply!
The application is available to students on the Class of 2023 Google Classroom and it is due by April 7, 2023 at 2:05pm. No applications will be considered if submitted after this date/time. This application must be completed by the student and if you or they have any questions, please reach out to their school counselor.

The pantry is located in the nurse’s office. This can be accessed by a student asking the nurse or their school counselor. Students may also take enough food and supplies for their families, if needed.
