HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season with their friends and family. Most of my break was spent in a basketball gym, remodeling my basement, and watching movies with my family. The highlight of my winter break was taking my two oldest children to the second-coldest Browns game ever! We braved the conditions for the first half and watched the fourth quarter back home.
It is hard to believe we are starting the 2nd semester! As a reminder, 2nd quarter report cards have been posted to Infinite Campus. The report card link can be located on the left-hand side under the "reports" section. Please review your child's progress with him or her and help them set attainable goals to maintain or improve their academic performance.
I look forward to the second semester as we continue to grow by being Caring, Mindful, and Solution Focused.

Testing
On Wednesday, January 11, all students will take a practice writing assessment. This assessment will provide ELA teachers with immediate feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your child. The assessment is modeled after the grade-level Ohio Reading Test they complete in the spring. We will not send home a parent report and if you have any questions please contact your student's ELA teacher.
