We won 2 grants!
The theatre arts department is the recipient of two grants for the 2021-2022 school year. We won the Wolf Trap grant for $5,000 & the Loudoun Education Foundation Grant for $1,500. These grants will fund the creation and production of an original work based on the historic Johnstown Flood of 1889. Performances on 1/22 and 4/23.

Alumni Spotlight - Kevin Brunette
Since graduating, I have been studying Music Theatre at Christopher Newport University! I’ve been involved as a performer in various projects such as The Comedy of Errors and Trial of God (operatic world premiere). I was also hired as an Assistant Director for a program called The New Musicals Lab, a program dedicated to giving writers and creatives the opportunity to workshop their new works, where I was fortunate enough to work with Broadway’s Richard Blake (Legally Blonde, Jersey Boys, Wicked) and Megan Masako Haley (Mean Girls National Tour). Currently I’m working on TheaterCNU’s production of Pippin as an acrobatic flyer and Charlemagne understudy.
