Mrs. Santori's Classroom Updates

I would like to open the door to parents and family members to come into our classroom over the next 2 months to share about your career. These presentations could be about 20 minutes and include what you do and how you got there. If you are interested in visiting or even using Skype to share with us please contact me with your availability. Thank you for considering.

Reading: We are reading Superfudge, the sequel of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. In addition to that we are focusing on identifying cause & effect in text. The genres we are studying are pourqoui tales & fairy tales.

Writing: Students are completing their informational writing book on Google Docs. Their presentations will take place throughout April. The next unit will be a short poetry unit.

Math: We are in our second unit of fractions and focusing on equivalent fractions and relating fractions and decimals. The final unit of fourth grade is geometry.

Science: We started our electricity unit and will be making electrical circuits soon.
