Infographics
An infographic is a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information or data.

Genial.ly
Easiest platform for creating an infographic.
- Website: genial.ly
- Create a FREE account.
- Click to Create genially
- Select Horizontal Infographic or Vertical Infographic (select Vertical if unsure)
- Start from blank or select a FREE template
- Use only FREE items
- Help: genial.ly's support
When finished, click Share (top right). If it's not named yet, name it. Click on the link icon and copy the URL to submit.
Canva
Additional source for creating an infographic.
- Website: canva.com
- Create a FREE account.
- Click to Create a design.
- Select Infographic for the dimensions.
- Start from blank or select a FREE template
- Use only FREE items
- Help: Canva's help center
When finished, click the download button (top right) and select either PNG (image) or PDF. Upload that file to turn in.
Piktochart
Another source for creating an infographic. The free account only allows PNG downloads, not PDF.
- Website: piktochart.com
- Sign in with Google for the FREE account.
- Click Infographic on the left side.
- Click Create a new infographic.
- Start from blank or select a FREE template.
- Use only free items.

When finished, save your work then click the Download button (top right). With the free account you can only download a PNG file. Change the quality to Medium then download. Upload that file to turn in.
Google Drawing
Use your FISD Google Account to create a Google Drawing.
- Website: drive.google.com
- Change dimensions to Custom = 8.5 in by 11 in for a standard piece of paper
- When adding graphics, use the Insert --> Image --> Search for copyright friendly objects.
When finished, there are multiple ways to turn this in:
- From a Google Classroom assignment, use the Drive icon to add and turn in
- OR - Click the Share button, and get the Share Link to submit (if not in Classroom)
- OR - Download as .PNG to turn in (if not in Classroom)
