Announcements for the Week of November 20-24, 2017
Wild Rumpus/Character Parade:
Tomorrow, November 20th at 2:00 pm, we will hold a Wild Rumpus for the Track 3 Classrooms that earned $1000 or more for the Read-a-Thon. Ms. Averett's, Boose's, and Hay's classes should meet at the flag pole for their event . Those students will return to class to start the parade at 2:20 (We will make an announcement) there will be a Character/Wild animal parade for all of the Track 3 students. The parade will travel throughout the school and move to the soccer field for a one-lap sweep so that all students can see each other and return to the school.
Parade Route: Mr. Biles and Mrs. Fricke will begin the parade by picking the classes of Hay and Boose in 4/5, the classes of Averett and Leavitt and Nussbaum (in music) in K/1, and Griep's class in 2/3. The parade will then proceed out of the 2/3 playground door. We will then walk toward the soccer field and down the sidewalk to the left onto the field. We will walk one lap around the field and return as we came. 4/5 and 2/3 will return to their classes with his/her teachers and then K/1 and Nussbaum will follow Mr. Biles, Mrs. Fricke and their teachers back to class. Notice that we are picking up students on the right side of each hall making a u-turn at the end of the hallways and picking up additional classes on the right side.
Classes that are participating: Please have your class ready to walk out of your room when the end of the parade arrives at your class.
Classes not participating: Please allow students to see students filing past through open classroom doors. Music will play over the intercom so students in classes might have a dance break in class or other activity during the time of the parade at teacher discretion.
Ms. Nussbaum: Please send your students with their outfit to specials as they will join parade from specials at 2:20.
