History, Philosophy, Sociology of Science Student Association
We are an undergraduate student group in Lyman Briggs at Michigan State for students interested in History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science, often shortened HPS. HPS aims to bridge the sciences and humanities in student education. We hope to enhance that bridge for our community, improve connection between students and HPS faculty, help prepare them for their professional future, and outline the opportunities provided by an HPS education by putting on various events through out the semester.
Bi-weekly meetings will include speaker events with HPS faculty, panels, movie nights, laid-back discussions about captivating topics, help navigating the graduate/medical school in the application process and beyond.
