e-learning - November 23rd and 24th
Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24 have been planned for eLearning days. On these days students will log into Canvas and complete independent curriculum-related activities posted on Canvas. Teachers will be available from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm for support and communication.
Virtual Learning - Beginning Monday, November 30th
Monday, November 30th will begin virtual learning. Students on a hybrid black or gold day schedule will engage in synchronous learning on their assigned days. See schedules below.
- Students should report to each scheduled class on time via Zoom.
- Teachers will take attendance of virtual attendees and enter attendance each period.
- Teachers will provide no less than 20 minutes of direct instruction to synchronous hybrid students each period.
- Once instruction is complete, teachers may assign curriculum-related tasks or break out into small groups.
- Teachers and students should remain logged into the synchronous Zoom for the duration of the class period.
- Teachers will record all synchronous zoom sessions and upload them into Canvas studio for viewing.

Distractions
- Find a dedicated study space!
- Keep a notebook and class information with you.
- Eliminate distractions - No music or TV during class.
- Phones off or face down.
Organization
- Keep Canvas open for each class so you can navigate if instructed.
- Take notes and write down questions while teacher is presenting.
Dress
- If you look good, you feel good! It's easy to just roll out of bed, but to get your mind focused, get up and get dressed!
- School appropriate clothing. Even though you are learning at home, you are still taking part in a school function, so look the part!
