FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome to Term 2
Dear Parents
Welcome to Week Two Term Two!
It has been great having the children back at school with renewed energy and enthusiasm and eager to start their learning again. The easing of COVID restrictions has also been welcomed as it means that we return to a ‘new normalcy’.
ANZAC Day
As we were not able to gather as a whole school when we returned last Monday, each class reflected upon ANZAC day within their own classrooms and completed different activities. ANZAC Day provides an opportunity to remember the many Australians who have fought and who may have been killed in conflicts and all those who have returned home, many seriously affected physically and emotionally.
Early Years Playground
Refurbishment of the Early Learning Centre Playground area commenced in the April holidays. It is really taking shape and we hope it will soon be completed for our PK, K and PP children to use.
PCPS Family Mass
Our PCPS Family Mass will be celebrated at 11am on 22 May at Our Lady of the Mission Church in Craigie. Please put the date in your diary.
Enrol now for PK and K 2023 and 2024 and beyond
Enrolment interviews are now taking place for Pre Kindy and Kindergarten 2023, 2024, 2025.
Kindy 2023 is already full and PK is filling up quickly.
If you have a child who is due for Pre Kindy or Kindy in 2023 or 2024, please ensure that your application has been received by the office so that you have a place secured.
If you have friends and neighbours with children in these age brackets, please encourage them to view our school website and submit an application. Please note that Kindy 2023 is full.
Happy Mothers Day
To all our PCPS mothers, I wish you a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday and hope you get spoilt by your family.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy this glorious sunshine!
