Looking for a safe camp to stay in during the summer? Search no more!
Camp Half-Blood is as reliable as it will get. Luscious green grass, the sparkling lake, and weather that never turns gloomy, we are the best choice for your child. We also guarantee safety from those pesky monsters, including learning life skills, and life saving skills, we are the perfect choice for you. Three months of this and you'll be able to defend, and fight off threats easily! Yes, three months may seem like a long time, but don't worry, with all of the fun we offer here, such as climbing rock walls to playing an action packed game of Capture the Flag, they'll just love it!
The Cabins
We have an abundant amount of room for you! With 20 cabins and 20 gods, we will find the one that fits you perfectly. The Zeus cabin with beautiful smooth white marble, the Poseidon cabin with it's perfect blue stone and finally the Hades cabin, dark, gloomy, yet tempting with it's black and green columns and their faintly glowing skulls. Inside of the cabins are comfy bunks and your own space to put up whatever you prefer. That's not all, there are representations of your godly parent, Hephaestus with it's mechanical, yet comfy bunks, Zeus with lightning and thunder in the cabin, and even Aphrodite with their pink cute cabins. The only thing you must keep in mind is the 11:00 curfew, remember not to get out after 11:00 or you may have a run in with harpies.
The Forest
The forest in Camp Half-Blood is where we have amazing camp activities. Ones such as capture the flag, we have played this every Friday since our camp has been built. Each week we use our magical weapons to face each other to determine the 'leading' cabin The forest is a symbolic representation of our camp, guarding us, yet mysteriously complex.
The Dining Pavilion
The Dining Pavilion is a huge area with no ceiling, but amazing amounts of food and a center offering altar. This area is one of the most important places in our Camp. We sacrifice food to our godly parents here, however, these are not the types of sacrifices that require killing, stabbing, or anything brutal. We offer sacrifices in forms of modern food. There have been steaks, hamburgers, m&ms, even escargots offered to the gods to please them, and perhaps even to ask for a favor. There have been many heroes of our camps that have offered food, and prayed to receive heroic duties, solutions, etc. and have become legendary. Ones such as Annabeth Chase, Percy Jackson, and Grover Underwood. All of these mentioned have become role models to our everyday campers.
Annabeth
Hi! I'm Annabeth, and I am a daughter of Athena, the goddess of wisdom. I have been part of this camp since a child, and have been a year long camper ever since. I'm renown as a girlfriend of Percy's, but even more importantly, a partner in his demigod quests. Together Percy, Grover, and I have stayed and trained at this camp, and boy have we been successful. Last year we defended New York from two titans, one who has become a magnificent tree, and one who has deceased. Without Camp Half-Blood, everyone in it, and our amazing directors I don't think I could've made it this far.
Percy
Hey. What's up, my name is Percy and I'm the son of Poseidon. I came to this camp when I was roughly 11 and I have come to think of this as my home. When I entered these campgrounds I wasn't aware that I was weak, and naive, but when I left to defend New York, I left as a valiant well trained hero. Camp Half-Blood has been amazing, I've met so many new people, not all that I love, but most of which I do, and I strongly believe this is the right place for newly introduced demigods.
Grover
I'm Grover Underwood from the council of cloven elders and satyrs, also I was granted the title of The Lord of the Wild by the god Pan when he passed away. I've been with Percy and Annabeth from the start. Percy was from a horrible academy called Yancy. From there I rescued Percy, only to have him slip out from under me and escape, him not realizing his dire situation. You see, back then I was part of the camp's, what you could call, search and rescue team. I found Percy at Yancy and tried to rescue him from the monsters. Eventually he ended up at our camp, after being taken here by his mother. Now he's gone and defeated two titans and managed to save New York. I managed to help him turn Hyperion into a tree. Now that everything's returning back to normal I think Camp Half-Blood is my place. It's where I can just be me, and meet up with friends. What I'm trying to say is, is if you come over to Camp Half-Blood, you'll make more than friends, and make fun things happen, you'll make memories that you'll keep for the rest of your life.
