The Weekly Jr. Oiler
February 22, 2019
Memorial Plaque Dedication
Students wrote letters, started a donation fund, involved local businesses, wrote the inscription, and had the plaque installed. During the ceremony, students read speeches about what this whole process has meant to them and how Robin touched their lives. Thank you to Mrs. Rasmussen, Mr. Epting, and to the students who spoke - Brandon Gorman, Kristen Gomes, Niko Lopez, Mariana Vaswani, Pedro Polvo, Jack Bosson, Sam Sobel, Jonathan Wong, and Cole Calleja.
This is such a great example of taking passion and concern, getting involved in your community, and making a difference. We are so proud of the great citizens that are Jr. Oilers!

Chloe's was one of three winners overall and she will be recognized at a ceremony in May. | UCI Visit Students in science were treated to some demonstrations from graduate students from UC Irvine. They showed students chemistry experiments to discuss acids and bases, metallics, liquid nitrogen and gas laws, and lit various alkali materials on fire to show wavelengths of colors. | Open House Open House was a great success! We had tons of students and families tour through classes, listen to performances, and enjoy snacks from one of our many clubs. |
