Dear CCPS families,
I hope everyone had a very happy and restful holiday season. We are delighted to be back in school at CCPS. Our PTO did an amazing job this year with Polar Express! Many thanks to all the families that helped our classes with various holiday activities such as Polar Express, and ornament making during the month of December. We appreciate all your efforts to make it a memorable time for our students.
We had a record number of visitors for our holiday luncheon this year. Our lunchroom ladies made a delicious meal for all of us and we are so thankful for all of their efforts to make this meal a special event for our families.
It is hard to believe we are in the second semester of school! This is an exciting time of year at CCPS because students really begin to soar with their reading skills. In December, we completed our school wide DIBELS assessment. Our students scored very well! Thank you for working with your students on a daily basis. Our teachers have worked hard to provide a solid foundation for our students and we appreciate your work at home. The home- school connection maximizes our students’ potential.
Please remember to update your phone numbers and addresses with our school office. Have a Happy New Year!
