BCSC 3rd grade students visit the BEF Log Cabin Homestead this month. Thank you to Adelsperger Orthodontics, Brownsburg Education Foundation, and Brownsburg Kiwanis for supporting this outstanding opportunity for our students - located right here on campus!

Why is School Spirit Such a Big Deal?

If you're new to Brownsburg, you've probably already noticed that we are very passionate about school spirit. In 2009, Brownsburg High School added the title of "Spirit Coordinator" to student leadership. Just two years later, BHS was the back-to-back winner of the Operation Football Spirit Award from a local TV station (2012 winners pictured). Since then, BHS students have grown that tradition and are perennial finalists in multiple TV spirit competitions. From dress-up days to coordinated cheers, the passion for the Bulldogs has expanded through the middle schools down to our youngest students. If you'd like to take part in another spirited tradition, join in the Homecoming Parade next week! (more below).

BCSC Parent-Teacher Conferences, October 6 & 7

This year’s conferences will be offered in-person or virtual, via Zoom. Look for further communication from your student’s school to reserve your time. BCSC teachers will be wearing masks for in-person conferences and masks will be recommended for parents who attend in-person.

BCSC COVID Updates and Reporting Survey

BCSC provides weekly updates on COVID-19 cases and quarantines. CLICK HERE to view this year's updates and responsive measures.

Families must report positive COVID-19 cases to complete the contact tracing directed by the Hendricks County Health Department. If your student has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you complete an online survey to start the contact tracing process as quickly as possible. Getting accurate information directly from the family is the most efficient way to start identifying any close contacts to a positive case.

Airport Rd & Hornaday - Open to Traffic Monday

According to Town officials, vehicular traffic will be allowed through this intersection on Monday. Sidewalks will not be complete at that time, but should be open to pedestrians in the coming weeks as the project is finalized.

BHS Homecoming is Coming - Next Week!

The Brownsburg Bulldogs take on the Fishers Tigers in the annual Homecoming game on Friday, September 17th at 7pm at Roark Stadium. In addition to the game, the community is invited to take part in the annual Homecoming Parade before the game at 5pm. CLICK HERE for more details including parade entry registration and the 2021 parade route. This year's theme: Olympics.

BCSC Now Hiring Subs

Don't Forget Free & Reduced Application for Curricular Materials

The free and reduced-price application for the 2021-22 school year is now available. It is important to note that a new application must be completed every year. Please complete one application per household. While meals are free for all students again this year, it is very important for families who may qualify to complete this process as it could have an impact on the assessment of curricular material fees or other billing items throughout the year.

Please contact Nutrition Services at (317) 852-5726 x2095 or with any questions.

Curricular Materials Fees Can Be Paid Online

Curricular materials fees for grades PK-12 have been assessed and can be paid online through your PowerSchool Parent account. Click the Balance icon on the left and then "eFunds for Schools" in the upper right hand corner to pay online.

BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry

The BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry launched in the summer of 2014 through a partnership with Gleaners Food Bank. Thanks to the hard work of community and staff volunteers and Applied Skills students in the Collaborators for Success program at BHS, the pantry continues to serve many families in Brownsburg. BCSC families have also contributed donations to help make the pantry a great resource for our community.

The pantry will serve families again on 9/16 from 3pm-5:30pm in a drive thru setting and always on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month. Visitors can pull up to door #7 at the ALPHA/Harris Academy building, 725 C South Green Street.

If you have questions about the pantry, please contact Tracy Damone at
