Monthly Newsletter-May Edition

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Dear Delaney Families,

This saying couldn't be more true! Our students haven't had many opportunities for outdoor recess during this recent record-setting rainy month of April. I am hopeful May will bring us some warm and sunny days.

Please be sure to label all jackets and sweatshirts as students often leave them behind on the bus, on the playground, and in the cafeteria at this time of the year.

Thank you for taking the time to read through the May Newsletter. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Health Office News

Happy Spring! We would like to take this opportunity to remind parents/guardians to kindly check children on a routine basis for the presence of head lice. Head lice is a common occurrence in the school setting and are not known to cause disease.

Please contact your school nurses if you suspect your child may have head lice and we will happily check your child. We have included a head lice guide for families for further educational information.

Thank you for your cooperation.
