NWEA - MAP testing
Parents: Please allow your child to take the assessment on their own! It may be tempting to help your child with answers. As a parent, I understand how that feels!
Please understand if you help your child now it will not benefit them in the long run!
The assessment is taken several times a year. When the student takes the test in person without parent help, the scores may be different, which may confuse and upset children if their scores are lower than when taken with parent help. Getting accurate information about your child's achievement will help us understand where there may be gaps in learning enable staff to meet the needs of students.
