KINDERGARTEN
Mrs. Campi - Nicole and Matthew Martinez
Nicole and Matthew Martinez are our BRIGHT students this month! Nicole and Matthew have ben working hard all year and their effort enthusiasm truly shines. They always come into chat with a smile and are always ready to participate. They put their best effort into all of their work and a positive attitude. Keep up all of your hard work, Nicole and Matthew! You are doing an excellent job!
Mrs. Ramsey - Zachary Collins
Zachary is our BRIGHT student this month! Zachary is such a hard worker and always strives to do his best. Zachary is an active participant in virtual lessons and does his best effort on his school work. It has been great working with Zachary this year! Keep up the great work, Zachary!
FIRST GRADE
Mrs. Barch - Olivia Siroki
Olivia is our BRIGHT student for this month! Olivia submits
wonderful work! She completes assignments with thought and creativity. Olivia is
an active participant in our online courses and virtual lessons! She reads the
Homeroom Announcement daily and solves the Math Problem of the Week weekly. Olivia
is a joy to have in virtual lessons. She always has a smile on her face, and is
eager to share her ideas. Olivia even goes above and beyond expectations by
challenging herself in extra programs such as Compass Learning, Achieve3000,
and Reflex Math. Way to go, Olivia! Keep on shining!

Mrs. Specht - Titus Smith
Titus is our BRIGHT student this month. Titus attends virtual lessons and submits his work on time. He is a very hard working first grader! Titus is really improving a lot in reading and writing this year. He submits creative and thoughtful work too. Great work, Titus!
Mrs. Knox - John Gonzalez
John is our BRIGHT student for this month. In the past month, John has shown great improvement in his coursework and his participation in virtual lessons. He is eager to engage in class discussion and listens to and follows directions well. John has been coming to each of his virtual lessons with a smile on his face and has a positive attitude toward learning. Way to go, John! Keep shining brightly!
SECOND GRADE
Ms. Donegan - Liam Boehning
Liam is the BRIGHT student for the month of March. Liam always submits his very best work and is doing a wonderful job in my class. He is a great participant in virtual lessons, and I really enjoy working with him. Liam is a creative student and a great writer as well. Keep up the awesome work, Liam!
Ms. Harris - Maya Steward
Maya is our BRIGHT student for this month because she is a hard working second grader. She attends all of our virtual lessons and does a fantastic job participating in each activity. I really like that Maya does her very best on her school work and takes the time to read her independent reading book to me each week. I am so proud of all of the accomplishments Maya has made in second grade! Way to go Maya!
Mrs. Victorious - Alex Eisenhower
Alex is our BRIGHT student for the month of March. I always enjoy receiving and reading Alex's work, as she adds a personal message about the assignment such as, "This was fun!" I can tell she is enthusiastic about learning. Alex consistently attends virtual lessons and has recently really started to participate in answering questions and share her thoughts. I am very happy to have you in class, Alex. Keep up the wonderful work!
THIRD GRADE
Mrs. Ault - Nicholas Ellison
Nicholas is our BRIGHT student for this month! Nicholas is a very hard worker. Recently, Nicholas did a presentation on Samuel Morse and it was fabulous! Nicholas always completes his work on time and it is always very well done. In virtual lessons, Nicholas is an active participant and very encouraging to his classmates. Keep up the awesome work, Nicholas!
Ms. Chickerino - Naia Haygood
Naia is the BRIGHT student for the month of March! Naia is an all around terrific kid. She is kind to her teachers and her classmates. It is evident that she tries her best on all of her assignments. She attends all virtual lessons on time and fully participates. Naia is also a regular at the live events in Pittsburgh. Keep up the outstanding work Naia. I am so proud of you and all of your hard work this year in third grade.
Mrs. Martino - Isabel Haley
Isabel is our BRIGHT student for March. Isabel attends her virtual lesson weekly and is a great participator! She always has a smile on her face, and I am glad to have a positive student like Isable in my class! Isabel tries her best in her lessons, and all her hard work shows in her excellent grades. Great job Isabel! Keep up the good work!
FOURTH GRADE
Mr. Cooper - Marcus Gustafson
Marcus is the BRIGHT student for this month! The reason Marcus is our BRIGHT student this month is because of all of his hard work and dedication! During our chat sessions Marcus has great thoughts, feeling, and contributions, to add to our conversations. He constantly has a positive attitude
in and outside of chat as well no matter what the scenario. Assignments are always on time and exceed my expectations, he never misses a beat!

Ms. Modge - Brandon Colussi
Brandon is the BRIGHT student for the month of March! Brandon has proven himself as a super student from his first day at PALCS, which wasn't that long ago!! Brandon is a new student and has caught on fast! I enjoy seeing his smiling face in virtual lessons, as well as listening to his thoughtful answers when he participates. Brandon shows how hard he works with the quality assignments he submits. I am proud of you Brandon! You are doing an excellent job in fourth grade!
Mr. Packer - William Moulton
William is our BRIGHT student for the month of March! William is an amazing 4th grade student. He consistently puts forth his very best effort. When looking at William's coursework it is apparent that school and learning is at the top of his priority list. Aside from his amazing work ethic and quality of work, William participates at all times in the live setting. He is very eager to be a part of his and his classmates learning! Congratulations on being our BRIGHT student of the month, William!
FIFTH GRADE
Mr. Clausen - Kyran Brown
Kyran is the BRIGHT student for the month of March. Kyran is an exemplary striaght "A" student even though this is her first year at PALCS. Not only does she attend every virtual chat, she also actively participates and contributes to the class discussion. Homework is always of high quality and eceeds the 5th grade level. Recently her writing has also been exceptional. Congratulations Kyran!
Ms. Owens - Rebecca Smorey
Rebecca is the BRIGHT student for the month of March! Rebecca not only faithfully attends her virtual lessons, but she brings a smile with her every time, no matter what she may be going through. Rebecca puts others first and continually encourages her classmates. In addition, Rebecca communicates if there is ever a time that she needs to reschedule a lesson. She calls and makes a plan to attend at an alternate time. Rebecca consistently works hard on her coursework, and does everything with a positive attitude. Rebecca, thank you for brightening the classroom and all of our lives! You are a bright girl!
Mr. Van Etten - Emmy Scullion
Emmy is the BRIGHT student for March! Emmy works hard on each and every assignment she turns in. She strives to do her best in all of her courses. She wrote an outstanding descriptive poem about her favorite place (her garden). I always enjoy having her in chats. She comes in ready to learn! Way to go, Emmy!
Mr. Wein's Class - Samuel Ehm
Samuel is the BRIGHT student for the month of March! Sam always submits his work with a great amount of effort and in a timely fashion. I don't think Sam has been late for a single assignment in the 3rd marking period! Samuel is making a lot of progress in both reading and math, and I am very excited to see what how he does next marking period. Keep up the amazing work, Sam!
