First Annual CPCS Week of Giving
This week, we will generate ideas and do activities that help us give throughout December. Print the challenge calendar and complete activities as a family. Students can bring their calendars back to school on January 2nd to receive an act of kindness in the new year! Access the calendar here.
DECLARATION OF INTENT - ACTION REQUIRED
All families - Declaration of Intent - Due Dec 31st
The Declaration of Intent will be posted online for our current CPCS families and will be available to complete from December 1 – December 31, 2023. The Declaration of Intent will inform the school of your intentions for the 2024-2025 school year and assist in setting up the lottery process.
This will be a two-step process for some families. In addition to the Declaration of Intent, the lottery application MUST be completed for siblings who do not currently attend CPCS so that they can be identified in the wait list system.
Lunch Change for Tuesday, December 6th
On Tuesday, December 6th, we will not be having corn dog nuggets in the cafeteria for lunch. Instead there will be Chicken Quesadilla.
It’s the season of giving and CPCS is running its first annual Bake-less Bake Sale through December 31! What does that mean? Instead of asking for help baking cakes and pies and cookies and inviting people to purchase them, we’re requesting the donations straight to our school. This is the perfect time to share the love you have for CPCS and help us reach out to supporters in our community who want to share the love too!
As a fun and lighthearted incentive, we’re offering prizes to the class that raises the most money and the class that has the highest quantity of donations. If we reach our goal, all students and families will be invited for a free movie night at CPCS!
Our goal is to raise $10K, and we know we can get there with the support from all of you! We ask that you share this fundraiser as far and wide as you can utilizing this link: https://givebutter.com/CPCSBakelessBakeSale
Be sure your donors select your student’s teacher for their class to receive the credit.
More information on donations can be found at this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cy11uToFtr6CWay6CLMe_5onGvpazJkv2iO5SO5HuJs/edit?usp=sharing
First Annual Trivia Night and Ugly Sweater Contest Friday, December 8th
The Fundraising Committee is holding the first annual Trivia Night and Ugly Sweater Contest on Friday, December 8 at 6PM in the CPCS Gym. Come show off those random bits of knowledge you've been holding onto for a chance at a $100 CASH PRIZE for the winning team. Show off your best holiday sweater or shirt and let the crowd decide who will be crowned champion and earn bragging rights for the next year! Cost is $5 per person or $25 per team/family (up to 6 people). There will also be a 50/50 raffle, food (pizza/snacks) and drinks for purchase, and maybe some other fun surprises, so please come out and join us for a night of fun and laughs!
