Willard Elementary School
Things to Know for 2021-2022
Welcome from Principal McCoy
I am very excited to join the Willard community this school year as your new principal. This summer we have been very busy making sure that the buildings and teams are ready to welcome students back to in-person instruction. It is our goal to ensure that we have a successful launch and continued success throughout our school year that is safe, engaging, academically robust, and fun. COVID-19 has brought its fair share of challenges, but it also opened up a plethora of opportunities. Education is my passion, and I am excited to live out my passion daily with you and your children.
I am looking forward to working alongside you all this year.
Sincerely,
Principal McCoy

Mission Statement:
Willard School educates and inspires our multi- and monolingual students to think and act critically with empathy, kindness, and curiosity. Each member of our community: staff, students, families, and caregivers - actively contributes to a caring, safe environment through both their words and actions. Our entire school community will take the steps needed to address and end all forms of racism, bias, bigotry, and bullying at Willard School. Our collective efforts will help our students feel connected, have access to high academic standards for all, and be able to grow to their full potential.
