COUNSELOR'S CORNER

Mrs. Phelps continues on with groups into the new year. Throughout the various groups, students are learning tools to help with things like self-control, worries, social skills, and ways to work through new transitions.

CES has a new and exciting sensory pathway in our hallway! The pathway helps students when they are losing cognitive functioning during the learning process by providing sensory input. It can help our Little Eagles refocus and attend, decrease sensory seeking behaviors and increase cognitive function! Thank you to the Project Aware Grant for purchasing the pathway, and Mrs. Phelps, Mr. Davis, Mr. Milks, Mr. Gallinati, Mr. Bradley and Mr. and Mrs. Wright for making this project happen!

IF YOUR CHILD IS ABSENT

If your child is absent, please call 592-7552 and leave a message including their name and reason for absence. This saves Mrs. Douglas time in the morning because she calls each person who hasn't called in and leaves them a message. Thank you for your help in this matter.
