This Week...

Ram Nation...
Good Evening Ram Nation,
We are less than three weeks away from summer break! Although last week was extremely busy for our students and staff, we have an even more jammed packed week coming up. Last week we completed AP exams, held our ladies soccer senior night, hosted our Beta Club 2022 Induction ceremony, held an assembly for eligible juniors and seniors led by ‘You Can Vote’ a non-partisan group to provide voter information to our students, took students to the polls for Early voting, and concluded our week with the NJROTC Awards.
This week there are so many fun activities planned in order to help our students and staff de-stress. However, this week is also crunch time as final exams will begin next week (May 25th). There are only two Mondays, 7 days until exams, and 14 total school days left of the 2021-2022 school year. We will begin this week with a senior meeting and lunch, staff vs. student basketball game, awards ceremony, graduation walks (seniors at the feeder elementary schools), and spirit week.
Parents please continue to remind our students that this is crunch time as we prepare for these final assessments. It is critical that they are present each day and, in every class, so they can receive the appropriate content in order to be successful on these assessments. NEHS staff will continue to prepare our students with the skills, tools, and knowledge to decipher what the assessments are asking them.
I look forward to continuing to meet with students, parents, and community members. Please know that I am only a phone call away, and for immediate needs you may stop by the school.
It is truly a pleasure to be a part of the RAM Nation, I am excited to continue to lead Northeast High School. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
KaTrinka Brown, Ed.S.
Proud Principal

NEHS General Updates
Senior Walks
We are still in need of seniors to do the Graduation walks at our elementary feeder schools on May 19th. Students will dress in their caps and gowns, and parade the halls of Madison Elementary, Monticello-Brown Summit, and Brightwood Elementary. This is the opportunity to show off the importance of hard work, and encourage our younger generation of students that they can also graduate from high school. Please see Coach Sharp to sign up and get permission slips.
