Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease
By: Diego Romo
Did you know?.....
Out of all the people that have Alzheimer's, 5% of them have Early Onset Alzheimers. This is when you get this very serious disease at an earlier age than 65. Some people say that this disease is inheritable. Some people say that is random selection. I personally think that it is both. There have been cases where the affected person's child or grandchild gets it and there are case where there is no logical reason that the affected person gets it. The picture below shows the different age ranges of Alzheimer's disease.
Once you get diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, it is virtually impossible to survive or persevere the disease. Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in United States. It kills more than Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer combined. Currently, Alzheimer's disease is the only disease in he top ten causes of death that can't be slowed, stopped or prevented. Alzheimer's Association is an organization the contributes to the research and development of a cure or vaccine. Go donate now so that Alzheimer's wont even be on the list of top 100 causes of death.
