Biography

Tramar Lacel Dillard was born on September 17, 1979. He is better known by his stage name Flo Rida. He's from Carol City, Florida. His best selling song is "Low" which broke the record for digital downloads, and was number one for 10 weeks in the United States. John T. Dillard is his brother in law that influenced him through his career. He started at the age of 15.

Training and Education

After graduating from high school in 1998, he studied international business management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for two months and attended Barry University for two months. He returned to Florida to continue pursuing his music career after receiving a phone call from a representative of the independent label Poe Boy Entertainment. In 2006 he signed with them. They then came out with a record breaking release "Birthday."
