Our Mission
At Hopkins Elementary School we are collaboratively helping children achieve their personal best while increasing student achievement.
Our Vision
At Hopkins Elementary School we are working together to cultivate learners, empower families, and strengthen communities.
From the Principal's Desk
Hopkins Families,
We had over 771 guests join us last month at our Hopkins Thanksgiving Family Feast! This was wonderful and we hope you join us again this month at our Multicultural Night Celebration on December 15th at 5:00pm! Hopkins is FOR the community and each of our students!
During these last three weeks of the semester we want our students present every day to participate in high levels of classroom instruction so we can make strong gains to prepare for second semester! Please have your children at school on time, by 8:15am each day! We also have fun activities throughout the month to celebrate our holiday season, all of which are optional.
On our last day, December 16th, students will have their Semester Class Parties with their teachers! Families may send in store-bought items to share with the classes to help.
Happy Holidays from all of us at the HOP!
Proud to be YOUR Principal,
Gabriel Zaragoza

Hopkins Elementary School Council Dates 2022-2023
HOPKINS SCHOOL COUNCIL:
The A+ Education Reform Act of 2000 established school councils in Georgia to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation to achieve the following: solve difficult education problems, improve academic achievement, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents into the school-based decision-making process. In short, School Councils provide advice, recommendations, and assistance to principals and local boards of education. Hopkins school council meets four times a year.
