A5 Grants and Special Projects News
January/February 2023 #grant$4U&U&U
13 Anderson Five Teachers awarded BEST Grants
Congratulations to 13 district teachers who nabbed $24,599 in funding to support STEM activities in their classrooms. The program, funded by Bosch, was even more competitive this year with 21 Districts making 191 applications from four states fortunate enough to have Bosch support. A big "way to go" to the educators below who took on the challenge of grantwriting in addition to the many other duties of teaching. Enjoy your materials and thank you for engaging students with "hands on" opportunities for learning in Science, Techology, Engineering, and Math!

Delta Dental Supports Healthy Teeth in A5

Coach Smith is overseeing our grant from Delta Dental of South Carolina and swimming in a sea of toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste. Anyone who can spare a few minutes to help him repackage 13,000 oral care kits from their refrigerator size boxes to more manageable boxes of 100 for delivery to the schools -- his door is wide open. Thanks for all you do to promote good oral care, Coach!
