Message from Dr. Mazzoni
Good Afternoon Folsom Team,
I hope everyone enjoyed the delicious treats in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. We look forward to the staff car wash on Friday, May 24th. Our hope is that the pollen is gone by the 24th!
A special thank you to Nurse Smith for taking a lead with collecting monetary donations for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We have a number of students affected at Folsom by Type I Diabetes. We raised $1038 today!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers! I am sure your families have some pretty creative plans for you! However, my wife was not too thrilled that the Philadelphia 76ers are playing on Sunday followed by Game of Thrones, but I’ll be sure to make it a special day.
Reminder that we have a staff meeting set for Monday afternoon. Mr. Jim Whitaker from the Cynergy Group will be presenting to staff about the proposal to switch to Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In addition, Nurse Smith will present on the new trauma/emergency bags.
Lastly, members of the Folsom Leadership Team (FLT) will head to Caroline Reutter School in Franklinville, NJ this Wednesday to observe Professional Learning Communities in action. Principal Peters would like our team at the school by 9 am. We will have to leave Folsom around 8:30 am.
