WHAT WE ARE LEARNING NEXT WEEK
Writing: We will begin writing our very own Non-Fiction books. We will learn to write to a specific audience. We will spell words with different endings.
Math: We will add up to four two-digit numbers and subtract two-digit numbers using mental strategies and algorithms based on knowledge of place value and properties of operations. We will solve one-step and multi-step word problems involving addition and subtraction within 1000 using a variety of strategies based on place value, including algorithms.
Social Studies: We will compare the role of public officials through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
