Great Ways to Help Your Child Love Reading
● Read to your child and start early.
● Have a lot of reading materials available and visible at your home.
● If your child has a specific interest, find books on that topic.
● Show your child that you are a reader, and that you enjoy reading.
● Don’t impress on your child that reading is a chore. Require her to read, but make it fun.
● Set a quiet time for your child to read.
● Limit tech time so your child can discover books.
● Make your child see that you treat books gently and with respect.
● If your child has a learning problem, get help early.
