LCPA 2021

GOAL #1: Latino College Prep Academy (LCPA) will work to ensure equitable access to all students increasing proficiency in ELA and Math content standards. This allows LCPA to increase student graduation rates, A-G completion requirements, and establish a clear pathway for post-secondary achievement.

GOAL #2: Latino College Prep Academy (LCPA) students will have access to rigorous and relevant learning tools & resources taught by highly qualified teachers, a facility that is in good repair, and access to the curriculum in alignment with the Common Core State Standards while addressing the needs of the English Language Learner population.

GOAL #3 Latino College Prep Academy (LCPA) will cultivate a positive and welcoming school culture that promotes student learning in an academically and physically safe environment while maintaining a low suspension rate.

Congratulations to our Eagle Warriors!

On being selected to participate in the Virtual Young Women’s Power Lunch hosted by the Santa Clara County Superior Court Community Outreach Committee.

The Young Women’s Power Lunch was an inspirational event with local female leaders, including judges, elected officials, attorneys, and education and community leaders. This event provided an opportunity for our students to learn from local women leaders about their journeys, their challenges, and their successes with the goal of inspiring our future young leaders to make positive choices and achieve their dreams. A special thank you to Honorable Julia Alloggiamento, Judge of the Superior Court, Ms. Kiara and Mrs. Deserie for making this virtual event possible for our students.

LCPA Student Behavior Expectations for Distance Learning

LCPA believes in supporting the safe and responsible use of all online and digital technologies for teaching and learning. During this period of distance learning, all students are responsible for continuing to practice positive digital citizenship by protecting and respecting their peers and teachers. We all must understand, practice, and model positive and productive behaviors when we are online. Because a remote learning environment is still a classroom, school behavior norms and rules are to be followed just as expected in the regular educational setting/classroom.
