Penn Pride: We have. We are. Together.
TOGETHER.
Parents, you're doing it all: working; managing the money, house, food and kids; and supporting your child's learning. Whew. That is a lot. Go easy on yourself and your children.
I am confident that in the days/years to come all our children are going to be fine -- better even from this experience.
Penn Teachers have been working to come along beside you and offer you options and opportunities. They miss your children!!! We are here to help -- no pressure. We just want you to know we still want to partner with you.
The ICCSD is encouraging use of Lexia (reading) and DreamBox (math) for elementary students because these programs provide for a systematic continuity of instruction. Each program is adaptive, so it provides work for your child at their instructional level. Let your child's teacher know if you need help with these programs.
You can I continue to expect this Friday parent newsletter and a new FlipGrid from the whole staff each Monday evening.
Also, please let us know if you have questions or needs.
Email is great, but you can also call the school office number -- no one is there, but I'm checking messages and I'll get back to you.
TOGETHER we will get through this.
