Travel Guide to Planet Earth
By Elayna Pagels
Three Ways Humans Regionalize the Earth
Humans regionalize the Earth by continents, time zones, and climate zones. Continents are huge land masses that humans call continents. There are seven continents. Time zones are another way to split up the Earth because they change in different areas. Make sure you watch those while traveling to Earth! Climate zones are another way to split up the Earth. The closer you are to the equator, the hotter and more tropical it gets. North and south of the equator it gets cooler the farther up or down you go.
