In-House Field Trip Payment

Thank you to those of you who have already made the in-house field trip payment. As a reminder, we are offering 3 big in-house field trip opportunities this school year for all students. Our first one was the LPS Fall Festival on Halloween and the students had a blast! Our next one is on STEM day on December 15. The total cost for each of these opportunities is $30. We have broken that into 3 payments of $10 each due in October, December and March. If you have not made a payment yet, please pay the $20 by December 2nd as our STEM day will be on December 15.

October PACK Member of the Month

Congratulations to…Daisy Duncan!

A parent shared the following “shout-out” for Ms. Duncan:

  • I was chosen to chaperone on a recent field trip. I observed Ms. Duncan speak politely to each student but also with clear authority and direction which I think speaks volumes for her well behaved students. She recognizes individual strengths and weaknesses and her classroom is organized and inviting. I am excited to see how the rest of this year progresses.

We are so grateful to have Ms. Duncan as a member of our PACK! Thanks for making a difference in the lives of our students. We appreciate you! Each month, a local church or business will provide a gift basket for the PACK Member of the Month - this month's goodies were provided by Pizza Inn. Thanks to Pizza Inn for their donation!

As we continue this monthly celebration with staff, we will print ALL shout-outs to individual staff members and put them in your boxes - so be on the lookout for those! We look forward to celebrating with you!

PACK Member of the Month

Our November PACK Member of the month will be selected THIS WEEK! Please share a shout-out here: https://forms.gle/r8GcHBEqrFa1DdMeA . We can't wait to see who will be recognized in November!

Recognize a LPS Staff Member

We have an amazing staff at LPS! Do you know a LPS teacher or staff member that has really helped you, your student, or your family? Has a teacher been highly effective or motivating? Or maybe a staff member just went above and beyond and you want to give them a special shout out!

Our staff takes great pride in helping students and families achieve their highest potential. Take a few minutes and let our staff know how much you appreciate their work! We will share these notes with the staff and one staff member will be selected each month for special recognition!

All special lunch visits will take place on the stage in the cafeteria. There is no need to sign up or schedule your visit this year. Just be sure to check in at the front office and remember you will need your license to check in!

Please reference the lunch schedule linked below. Arrive at your child's scheduled time and leave when the lunch is scheduled to end. This is not a time for classroom visits, so we ask that you sign in and out at the front office. Thank you!

Reminder: Arrival and Dismissal Information

As we start the school year, please remember that arrival and dismissal procedures will take longer than normal. It takes time for the students and parents to learn the routines. During this time, your patience and understanding is key. Our number one priority is safety! Please click the link below to read the information regarding our arrival and dismissal procedures. This information will help new families become familiar with our procedures but also refresh the minds of our returning families.

Arrival and Dismissal Times

Please note that Liberty Primary starts school at 7:50 with doors opening to welcome students at 7:20. Students are considered tardy after 7:50. We will dismiss at 2:20 each day. Please note this dismissal time is 5 minutes later than last year.
