Sr Hawks Electric Evening
Please join us at a FREE Electric Evening for Vernfield 3rd - 5th Graders on Friday, January 12th, 2024.
The night will start off with the DaVinci Science Center Travel show, Shocking Discoveries. All about electricity! Students can then participate in a glow dance party and static center activities, followed by a snack to-go.
Registration is required:
-This is not a drop off event. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
-Open to current Vernfield 3rd, 4th and 5th graders only
-No siblings are permitted.
-Wear neon or white if you'd like to glow for the dance party!

Jr Hawks Night Out
Join us for a FREE evening out with your Vernfield K, 1st, or 2nd grader!
This year we will have “A Night at the Theatre”, as we host the Walnut Street Theatre.
- Date: Friday, 1/19/24 at Vernfield Elementary
- Check-in starts at 5:45pm
- Craft in the pods 5:45 - 6:30pm
- Show starts promptly at 6:30pm
-Every child must be accompanied by a guardian
-Only currently enrolled Vernfield K-2nd graders
-Snack will be provided

Teach Girls Tech Activity
On Thursday, January 25th, Vernfield is pleased to offer your student the opportunity to participate in the Teach Girls Tech Activity!
Students from the Souderton Area High School, Girl's Teach Technology Club will host a rollercoaster engineering activity. This Activity will occur right after school and students will be dismissed from their classrooms at the end of the day to go to the Technology room for the activity.
We are able to accommodate 25 Girls in Grades 3-5 for the Activity. Please sign up via the below link:

Souderton graduate, Karly, shares her joy of crafting with Class M101 on a weekly basis.
Karly explains the directions to the group and together they have created an assortment of crafts including a wreath, picture frame, Christmas tree and most recently Rudolph.
The students enjoy working with different materials such as glue, yarn, crayons, and paint to create their special art project.
HSA Board Openings for next school year
There will be 4 open HSA Board positions available for the 2024-2026 term. Voting will be held during an HSA meeting in the Spring, so that there is enough time for the transition from current board members.
Available roles include:
-Co-Treasurer (1 of 2 positions)
