Long Jump Through the Years....

What is Long Jump?
Well long jump is a track and field event in which athletes use speed, jumping and distance in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a marked leaping point. This event has a history in the Ancient Olympic Games and has been a Olympics event for guys since the first Olympics in 1896 and for women since 1948.
The Goal of the Study
The point of this research is to see how men and women are declining or inclining in their skill level per year and when they will have the same skill level.
Data set 1
The data under men and women are the farthest jumpers for each year measured in meters from 1970 to 1988, they were the gold medalists for the Olympics.
Data set 2
The data under men and women are the farthest jumpers measured in meters for each year from 1992 to 2004, they were the gold medalists for the Olympics.
Data set 3
The data under men and women are the farthest jumpers measured in meters for each year from 2004 to 2012, they were the gold medalists for the Olympics.

The 2 lines resemble the line of best fit for both women and men. These lines represent the change based in past trends. These lines will eventually meet showing where one sex will surpass the other
