Table of Jaw-Dropping Contents:
Coming back to a school after a break is always a fascinating experience. Hearing the stories of trips and family adventures always bring smiles to our students' faces. It is also fun to listen to the commentary on "how hard it was to come back", but at the same time see and feel that revived energy throughout the whole building!

Noteworthy Notes
The Value of Diversity Assemblies-
Next week we will be holding grade-level assemblies to talk with our students about the importance of diversity in our school community, the value of acceptance, and how our school will not tolerate any form of prejudice or discrimination. These are complex topics that our students are learning about and experiencing. While students participate in counselor lead lessons surrounding our Key Values throughout the year, it is also important that they hear guidance and boundaries from administration to help steer them through. If these are discussions that you are having at home as well, the Anit-Defamation League (ADL) provides a great resource called Table Talk located at this link.
Spirit Wear
Show your Mill Pond Pride! Please click on the link to view our Spirit Wear - there are many items and styles to choose from (see attached brochure)and they make great gifts.

Mill Pond is giving back to the local community through a toy drive to support the Holiday Store. We will be collecting New, unwrapped toys or books for children –Ages: Infant to teenagers! This will go through December 14th! See the flyer at the bottom of the Newsletter to gain more information
