Roadrunner Run Prizes
Today was Crazy Colors Day. The remaining prize is the Grand Prize: Silly String Mr. Renner! The big day is Nov. 22. Each member of Mrs. Morrow's class will get to spray a can of silly string on Mr. Renner at a fun assembly! Huge thanks to our amazing sport of a Principal!
Holiday Shop
The annual Holiday Shop is coming! It is an amazing tradition that allows children to shop for affordable gifts for their loved ones. They learn that giving is better than receiving and learn to budget. This year the shop will be open in the media center on Friday, Dec. 6th from 4-8 pm and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 am - 3 pm. A flyer and a budget planning envelope will arrive home in a week or so. We will need a lot of volunteers to help the kids shop and gift wrap. We simply cannot do it without you. Spencer won the battle against Hornung! Thank you Spencer families for the record setting turnout! We receive 20% of sales plus our bonus 10% for winning the battle. That is a whopping $975.67!!!
Holiday Food Drive Race is On
Now through Nov. 26th you can donate pantry items to Bountiful Harvest. Please send items (no glass) in a bag labeled with your child's grade as we are running a contest. The grade that brings in the most will receive Slurpee certificates and present a donation check to a Bountiful Harvest representative. Remember, canned meat and pasta are worth double for the contest! 2nd grade is currently in the lead, but 3rd grade is right on their tails!
Spencer Spirit Shop – Brand New!
Exciting News! Spencer's brand new Spirit Shop is now open! We have great Spencer Roadrunner (and Brighton Bulldog) merchandise available for purchase with a percentage of sales coming back to Spencer! Order before Nov. 30 to ensure delivery by Christmas, but our shop is open year round. What great gifts this stuff will make. Click on the link below to shop. Please read the information at the top of the page. Happy shopping and thank you for supporting Spencer! Thank you to Michelle at Ivory Vines for the great opportunity! See the photo below!
