PBS has developed a documentary project featuring over 100 Latino interviews to chronicle the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos, who have helped shape North America over the last 500-plus years and have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the U.S.

The nation’s leading nonprofit organization that facilitates the full participation of Latinos in the American political process, from citizenship to public service. First established in 1981, this nonpartisan organization’s goal is to integrate Latinos fully into American political society, provide professional development opportunities and technical assistance to the nation’s more than 6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials.
